Dr. Hari Om Tyagi is a dynamic and influential figure—journalist, author, poet, and entrepreneur—whose innovative ideas have left an indelible mark across multiple industries. In 2008, he made history by launching Property Expert, the first Hindi-language real estate magazine, followed by the English-language Property Observer. In 2012, he introduced Observer Dawn, an international business magazine that transformed the landscape by featuring prominent businessmen on its covers and in its stories, moving away from traditional models and advertisements.
Dr. Tyagi’s influence extends beyond publishing. He pioneered the concept of business summits and award ceremonies in Dubai, an approach later adopted by leading media organizations. He also organizes the prestigious London International Summit and Awards, held at the House of Lords in the British Parliament, solidifying his global standing.
In a bold and visionary move, Dr. Tyagi conceived the idea of an independent cricket World Cup, establishing the World Cricket Council (WCC) in the USA to ensure fairness and success in the event’s management. Despite early skepticism, his relentless drive turned this ambitious concept into reality.
As Chairman of WCC Management UK Limited, based in London, Dr. Tyagi oversees the organization of WCC cricket tournaments both nationally and internationally on behalf of the World Cricket Council, further expanding the global reach of the sport.
